We all know what we are free from...
but do we know what we are free for?
Recently, I took pictures inside a prison. It was highly educational and reminded me ever so much of how many freedoms we often take for grant. I am starting this blog because I truly appreciate and admire all the miraculous things in this world that we often times overlook. I truly have a relentless passion for life and never want to forget or fail to notice all of the beauty that constantly surrounds me. I truly have been blessed. I have a great home, great family, great friends, and a great admiration for the arts on all levels. It is my hope that all who enter the small world of my blog will be touched in a way that compels them to maximize their time on this precious planet. We all have become so overwhelmingly busy, that we fail to stop and utilize the most precious gift we have ever been given....our time. Stop! If just for a moment and take time to appreciate all the beautiful things and people that surround you. Dan Folgeberg's lyrics speak volumes to me. Perhaps, I will leave you with one of my favorite lyrics from his works.
